ABOUT TYLER

Heart and not
the numbers.

I was the guy with the heart and not the numbers.
Then I learned the numbers. That's the whole job.
My Story
Twelve years from walk-on
to running a Dallas facility.

College Station, A&M,
Houston, Dallas.

Tyler Brennan · Dallas, TX

I grew up in College Station playing baseball. Middle-of-the-pack high school player — good motor, average tools, no one calling. I walked on at A&M and rode the bench three years before I figured out that strength was the thing nobody had ever taught me.

I switched my major to Kinesiology junior year and spent two years interning under our S&C staff. I learned more about my own sport in those two years than I had in the previous twelve.

After graduation I coached high school athletes at a private facility in Houston for four years, then moved to Dallas in 2020 to open my own. I work mostly with youth and college athletes — plus a healthy roster of adults who refuse to slow down.

What I tell every athlete I work with: I was you. I had the heart and not the numbers. Then someone taught me how to build the body — and the numbers showed up. That's the whole job.

How I Coach
Coaching philosophy
in four short principles.

Four things I believe.

01

Strength is the foundation.

Squat, deadlift, press, pull. Until those numbers are real, plyos and ladder drills are decoration.

02

Specificity is mostly overrated.

For 90% of athletes under 25, getting strong, fast, and durable is the most sport-specific thing you can do.

03

The work outside the gym matters more.

Sleep, nutrition, recovery. If those aren't right, the gym work is wasted.

04

Coaching is a long game.

My best athletes have been with me three or four years. Real development is measured in seasons, not weeks.

Off the Clock

When I'm not coaching.

I live in Plano with my wife Becca, our two kids, and a Lab named Doc. I still play in a men's baseball league on Sundays — mostly badly. I coach my kid's youth team in the spring. I watch entirely too much college football. Gig 'em.
